Saleem Elahi Biography
Saleem Elahi (Urdu: سلیم الہی) (born 21 November 1976, Sahiwal, Punjab) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 13 Tests and 48 ODIs from 1995 to 2004. To date, he is the only Pakistani cricketer to score a century on his one-day debut, scoring an unbeaten 102.[1]
Despite not having played in a single first-class match, he scored an unbeaten 102 on ODI debut, against Sri Lanka at Gujranwala in 1995-96. His most successful tour was to Zimbabwe and South Africa in 2002-03 in four matches he scored 3 hundreds.
He averages over 50 in List A cricket and holds the second highest average of all time for players with over 5000 runs, after Michael Bevan.
